The clamping pressure surrounding the combustion chamber is increased using an O-Ring.The 18-7145-9 O-RING from Sea Star Solutions is designed to improve cylinder sealing in high-pressure situations. The metal parts encircle the bore and chamber, improving the head gasket’s ability to seal. An O-ring is a gasket that joins two surfaces through a circular loop. The oil can run into the valve guides, which are burned inside the combustion chamber if this small and otherwise uncomplicated component is absent.
